Alpha Gamma Rho is a social-professional fraternity To Make Better Men, providing each and every brother with superior lifelong personal development and professional success since 1904. As a social-professional fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho members are a brotherhood bound by shared values and shared professions in agriculture, natural resources, and related fields.
Our Purpose
The Purpose of Alpha Gamma Rho is To Make Better Men, and through them a broader and better agriculture by surrounding members with influences tending to encourage individual endeavor, resourcefulness, and aggressive effort along lines making for the development of better mental, social, moral, and physical qualities; to promote a wider acquaintance and a broader outlook on the part of agricultural men through fellowship in a national organization that stands for the best social, mental, and moral development.

At Western Kentucky University the Alpha Gamma Rho Chapter is filled with 25 Brothers across several different states. Many of us come from diverse backgrounds and have found that the brotherhood at AGR is what bring us together and keeps us close.
We are active in the community doing volunteer work for the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana which we have been working with for over 20 years. In addition, we also do philanthropy events throughout the year to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. |
